LENTEN SUPPERS
Come to the church at 6:00 every Wednesday during Lent for a light dinner provided by members of CTK and served by the youth group. Free will donations will support the youth ministry at Christ the King. Please sign up on the bulletin board in the back of the narthex to donate food for our meals! Thanks!

HOLY WEEK
March 28, Palm/Passion Sunday 8:30, 11:00 a.m.; April 1, Maundy Thursday 7:00 p.m.(Service of Holy Communion); April 2, Good Friday 7:00 p.m. (The Passion, according to St. John); April 3, Easter Vigil 8:00 p.m.; April 4, The Resurrection of Our Lord, Festival Services 8:30 and 11:00 a.m. (Youth Easter Breakfast 7:30 and 9:30 a.m. There will be a free will offering to support the youth group's summer trip).

PIZZA AND MOVIE NIGHT
Join us at the church building Saturday, March 27, 2010 at 5:00 p.m. for a Pizza Party with the Fellowship Committee. After pizza, the feature presentation will be given by our own Matt Nelson, KCRG Channel 9 cameraman, with in-depth highlights from that exciting Orange Bowl game we all were thrilled by just a couple of months ago!

WIGLS AND KING'S KIDS
WIGLs and King's Kids will be visiting the Iowa City Animal Shelter on Saturday, March 13th from 1:30–3:30 p.m. Meet at church building and we will carpool over. The Animal Shelter is in need of donations. Everyone is encouraged to bring something for the animals. Some ideas include cat food, dog food, kitty litter, blankets, chew toys, cat toys and treats. For anyone who can't make it, there will be a box for donations underneath the bulletin board in the narthex. Anyone from the congregation is also welcome to place donations in the box. See you then!

CHILE EARTHQUAKE RELIEF
An 8.8 magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of Maule, Chile, at 12:34 a.m. CST, Saturday, February 27. There were many aftershocks, and the quake set off a tsunami. If you would like to send financial help, make your check out to Christ the King Lutheran Church and put Chile Earthquake Relief in the memo line. Thank you!

CAMP EWALU REGISTRATION
The second early registration deadline, for a $20 discount, is April 20th! Camp pamphlets are in the rack under the bulletin board. They include information on all the camps, and a registration form. Christ the King Church offers a $50 scholarship to anyone (including non-members) who registers through the church office. Bring your completed forms and deposit check to the church office.

SENIOR HIGH YOUTH
It's that time of year again—time for our annual SUMMER TRIP MEETING! Join us at the church on Monday, March 8, at 7:30 p.m. for an informational meeting about our upcoming summer trip. Parents are welcome!

CRISIS CENTER BOX EMPHASIS
Each month we feature different items needed by the Crisis Center. During the month of March, we encourage you to bring pasta (hamburger helpers, macaroni and cheese, etc.).
