<< About Our Faith Community >>
We presently have about 1,000 members at CTK. (See our congregational profile.) Of primary importance to us is worshipping the God revealed to us through Jesus Christ, studying the Word of God, living out faith in our daily life among our neighbors, and promoting lay leadership and ministry. "We are not ashamed of the gospel; it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who has faith" (Romans 1:16). Led by the Holy Spirit, our vision is to proclaim Christ as Lord in all we do and say. To God be the Glory!
Worship stands at the center of our life together at Christ the King Lutheran Church. We celebrate the Lord's Supper every Sunday. We also worship together on Wednesday evenings and on major church holidays. In order that we may walk in the footsteps of Christ and help others, Christ the King Lutheran Church provides opportunities for service. Outreach opportunities abound, including Pennies for Poverty, congregational support for the local Crisis Center, Domestic Violence Intervention Project, and quilting for Lutheran World Relief. We also serve the community through Christ the King Christian Preschool. |
