WORSHIP + MUSIC
Worship is central to Christ the King—it is the time when all come together as a community to hear how God meets us in our everyday lives.
CTK has two worship services every Sunday during the school year. Our services are a more traditional service, held in the Sanctuary. Fellowship is offered in the Narthex right outside the sanctuary on Sunday mornings, from 9:30A to 11:00a, and Adult Education opportunities are offered at 10:00a in the Sanctuary.
Regular sunday Schedule
8:30 - Worship
9:30 - Fellowship in Narthex
9:45 - Bell rings for Youth Education hour to begin
10:00 - Adult Education begins in Sanctuary
11:00 - Worship
We are a singing congregation. Accompanied by our Schantz pipe organ, we make joyful noise to the lord every time we come together!
The CTK Choir is a mixed chorus that performs an anthem during worship each Sunday from September through may, as well as more extended presentations on cantata Sunday in may and for a special mid-week service during advent. The choir practices Wednesday evenings.
The bell choir practices weekly and performs for special occasions throughout the year.
Now the Feast Orchestra
This mix of string and wind instrumentalists, ranging in age from high school students to senior adults, accompanies our now the feast liturgy on the second Sunday of each month.
